Meet The Judges
There are three types of reviews that your submission may receive: Evaluation Panel Review, Expert Panel Certification, and Selection Committee Review. Each judge has been carefully chosen for their knowledge and experience in the field of local and sustainable food business. You can learn more about each judge here.
The Evaluation Panel scores and comments on each completed submission. Each team who submits an application will receive five sets of reviews that have been statistically normalized. Based on the rank order of the submissions, the top ten teams will advance to the Expert Panel.
During this phase of review, the Expert Panel will certify that the food production partners of the top ten submissions are local and sustainable.
After a preparation period, up to five Finalists will present their refined plans during a live pitch presentation to the Selection Committee that will determine the Winner.
